About Dr. Husain
Dr. Husain brings extensive training and experience to his practice in the Detroit metropolitan area, where he has served patients since 2010. He is double board-certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. He completed his residency at Detroit Medical Center and his fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. During his fellowship, he gained valuable experience at the Oklahoma City VA Hospital and the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, where he managed complex cases.
Dr. Husain holds privileges at leading hospitals, including Corewell Royal Oak, Henry Ford Macomb, and Trinity Oakland, and sees patients in Westland, Canton, and Sterling Heights. Recognized for his dedication, he received the Privileged Medallion Award from Henry Ford Macomb Hospital.
Committed to medical education, Dr. Husain currently trains medical students from Wayne State University and Michigan State University, as well as residents from Henry Ford Macomb and Corewell Royal Oak. His clinical expertise includes managing inflammatory arthritis, osteoarthritis, lupus, vasculitis, myositis, psoriasis, ankylosing spondylitis, and sarcoidosis.

records. By the time we talk, I’ll be
familiar with your clinical history.

Next, I’ll do a physical exam and pain
assessment either in person or by
secure HIPAA-compliant video.
Then, I’ll explain why your previous lab
and imaging tests were done and what
